What to wear

#equinebusinessalphabet letter W – what to wear!

So, I have couple of very useful graphics to help you choose colours that will work with your horse – the first is based more towards showing, but gives you a basis to work from! If you have a cow pony, like I do, you’re best to go with whatever their dominant colour is.

What you wear can make a huge difference to your images, and I would recommend block colours rather than intricate patterns. A pattern can draw the attention of your eye in a photo, and detract from you, your horse, and even the scenery. Of course if you go for an all out glam look, then this might be just what we’re after, but that’s a bit of a different kettle of fish! If you want to go ballgown, then I am SO up for that – just remember to bring your flats for the walking to and from location 🙂

Most people are happy with a smart casual look, opting for a jeans, smart top and jacket combo with some nice accessories, perhaps changing their top and shoes, before changing into a dress for a bit of variety (and depending on the time of year!) If you have any ideas, then you can always contact me to bounce them off me, or we can try a themed shoot!

I hope this helps you a bit, but of course these are for guidance and if you have a favourite outfit that’s not listed against your horse’s colour, we can always borrow someone else’s horse that matches 😉 (joking, joking!)
